Nora

Cortés Fernández

Nora Cortés received her Law Degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho in 2002 with a dissertation entitled “The Influence of Legal Positivism on National Socialist Legislation: The Holocaust in the Light of Law.” Cortés has worked as legal adviser at Mexico City’s 132 Notary. In 2007, along side Cecilia Salas, Nora founded the law firm Cortés & Salas specializing in Copyright and Intellectual property Law, and Corporate and Migration Law, where she has been the acting lawyer for several audiovisual production companies and adverstising agencies.
In 2012, she completed the “Advertising Legal and Ethical Framework” program, a certification by the Advertising Agencies Mexican Association.

Cecilia

Salas Espino

Cecilia Salas studied Law in Escuela Libre de Derecho, finishing in 2001. In 2005, she studied Public Administration at Universidad Iberoamericana, and Techniques for Clinical Teaching of Law at the Economic Research and Teaching Center (CIDE) in 2008. Salas worked at Ferrer & Asociados Law Firm from 1999 to 2001.
From 2001 until 2007, she worked at the Guarantee Department, and the Legal Advisory Division both at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. In 2007, along side Nora Cortes, Salas founded the law firm Cortes y Salas, specializing in Copyright and Intellectual property Law, and Corporate and Migration Law. In 2012, she completed the “Advertising Legal and Ethical Framework” program, a certification by the Advertising Agencies Mexican Association.
